Upcoming cars in India launching by March 2015

Today we have a question from Rahul from Himachal, now he has a budget about 7 to 8 Lakh Rupees but he is confused between premium Hatch Back, a compact entry level mid size Sedan and a compact MPV. Well of course he wants a car with a budget of 7 to 8 Lakh Rupees but he also says he is not in a big hurry right now and he can hold about for 6 or 7 months. He wants to know which are the cars, which are coming in with in that budget in India in the next 6 months.

On the outside Mr. Johar I think this is a question, a lot of buyers are confused with because there are so many good options out there. A lot of options overlap each other in terms of the pricing, if you are in hurry and want to go for a car immediately and you want a premium Hatch Back, we suggest you go for the Hyundai i20, the new version is out there. Its really a great car in terms of looks as well as interiors and features. Its really one of the best car out there in the market but if you can really wait for about 6 months or 7 months, there’s a lot of good cars in that budget. The first one is of course the Fiat Av Ventura which will be out end of September and this car is based on the Punto. It looks like an SUV but it is not an SUV but it looks like one and come to the great set of Diesel and Petrol Engines from the House of Fiat, this car will again around 6 Lakh Rupees and should be on sale by end of September.

You can also wait for the Datsun Go+, it will of course be a 7 Seater and that answers your MPV Questions, this car is again based on the Go Hatch Back but unlike the Ertiga and the Mobilio, this will be much shorter in length, it will be under 4 meters which means it get excise benefits from the Government and we expected to be price it from 5 Lakh Rupees which will be the starting price. Of course the down side is, there will be now Diesel engine.

There are two other cars in the same budget but those will come early next year. The first one of course is the new Figo Sedan, we saw this car around the Auto Expo and it does look really very nice and as with all Ford’s, it will be a great driver’s car and we expected be here around say February or March in next year, it will probably get the new 1 L eco boost engine from the Eco Sport and that really should said this car apart from the current mid size segment cars in the market and the last car in the cars you wait for is of course the Honda Jazz. Now this car will have the 1.5 L i-Dtec Diesel engine, which really a great in engine in terms of Fuel Efficiency and we expected to deliver about 24 or 25 KMPL under standard condition. It really is a great engine in terms of Efficiency and also the Jazz will be just like the last Jazz, very roomy very spacious from inside and really probably the best premium Hatch Back when it is launched in India early in next March.

So these are the cars you can wait for Mr. Rahul and of course if you are in the market right now for a Hatch Back a Premium Hatch Back, go for the Hyundai i20.

Well today we got 2 very very good questions; the first one is from Mr. Kunal who writes in on the email and he wants to know whether he should go for the Hyundai Grand i10 or its Sedan version the Xcent, now he has the budget of about 7 Lakh Rupees and he is wanting the 1.2 top end version on the car. Now he says he doesn’t really travel too much, He is not hang out kind of person and doesn’t really go for those highway kinds of journeys and he wants the Sedan for its posh image. Well Kunal, this is a question a lot of far and have bringing to us, where too buy a hatch back or the Sedan version of the car, the Swift also one of the example for full understand the problem, while people as for buy the Dzire or the Swift. Well our advice to you Mr. Kunal would be to for the Sedan, if you are going to keep the car for over 5 years or 3 or 4 years, because in the long run the practicality of the boot can not be matched by a Hatch Back. Well in the right quality, the Sedan version is definitely better than the Hatch Back version. The car star buy, because you have the 7 Lakh budget is go for the Sedan, go for the Hyundai Excent, it is much better product because it has the practicality of the boot.

Well the 2nd question of today is from Mr. Anil Chauhan and he also wrote over on the email. He wants to know whether he should be go for the Maruti Celerio AMT or wait for the Tata Bolt, well they bring the Tata Zest Recently and we are very impressed by that so keeping the Zest performance in my mind, I think the Bolt is going to be a great product but because it still 6 months await, my advice is for go with the Maruti Celerio, the AMT version is very practical car, its very affordable car that is a very good car for the city. Its performance is very good, its cheap on the pocket and its very  fuel efficient as well. Being a Maruti, it is just hassle free and in the long run we have felt the experience very very peace of mind offering and you will get very good resale value being a Maruti product.
