Volkswagen is giving its
Polo the biggest facelift till now so let’s take a look at Polo is all about.
From the front, obviously the Volkswagen Polo looks a bit different from the previous
one. You get a new grill, re designed head lamps and a new front bumper with
new fog lamps. Move to the side and you can see the new alloy wheels but then
that’s a bodied. At the rear you get new re designed tail lamps and a new rear
bumper. Over all the Volkswagen Polo still retains that classic European
styling and it remains to be seen whether like the global model the Volkswagen
Polo gets the LED DRLS. Inside and you will immediately notice the new silver
finish on the centered console and the new steering wheel with the new steering
wheel controls. The changes to the Polo’s cabin design wise end there but one
important thing is that you will now get a dead pedal in the Volkswagen Polo.
When it comes to space, it is as same as before and over all though the changes
are small 2014 Polo’s cabin is a lot fresher. While the changes to the
exteriors or the interiors may not seem that way, the biggest change in the
2014 Volkswagen Polo is the new 1.5 L diesel engine, this new diesel engine
replaces the previous diesel engines in the Polo line up while the 1.2 Petrol
and the 1.2 Turbo charged petrol remains the same. This new 1.5 diesel actually
makes the diesel engine Polo a lot more powerful and yet quite a lot of fuel
efficient. The GT TDI gets a more powerful version of this engine. Over all we are
ok with Volkswagen to increase the prices slightly but still looking at the
over all package Polo continuous to win attractive premium hatch backs.
