Honda Mobilio Complete Review

Honda has launched its much awaited MPV, the Mobilio and aggressive promotions are already under way. So then let us tell you what you need to know about Honda’s MPV.

How does it look: -
When it comes to exteriors, it seems Honda has done a pretty good job here. The Mobilio is under stand ably a lot longer than the Brio Hatch back and even the Amaze Sedan and is even longer than the Maruti Ertiga its chief rival. At the front you will find a large developed of chrome at the grill to make it seem a lot more premium looking, then you fill find an aggressive front bumper, all this has been done to keep the Mobilio different looking from the other Honda cars and it has done a quite well here. Move to the side, you will see some clever design details hiding the bulk of the car. Move to the rear and you will definitely see the best angle of the Mobilio, wrap around look of the rear wind screens and red attractively shaped tail lights clearly make it good looking. In fact, we have to say over all as an exterior design of the Mobilio is definitely one of the best looking MPV’s around.

What about the Interiors: -
The Mobilio is an MPV, which means find MPV Space and Practicality is really important and its cause well here. The Mobilio is actually quite easy to get in and out and from inside it feels quite spacious thanks to large windows. When it comes to space, the 2nd row is really comfortable in fact you have to say even the 3rd row offers decent comfort. When it comes to practicality, the Mobilio offers 60:40 split seats for the 2nd row and you get 50:50 split seats for the 3rd row. Mobilio also does well in the features, you get a touch screen system, rear view camera, Bluetooth and steering mounted audio controls on the top end variant. Design wise under stand ably a lot is shared with the Amaze and the Brio but you have to say quality is definitely not the class best on first impression at least.

What about engines: -
When it comes to engine options the Mobilio will have a 1.5 L Petrol and a 1.5 L Diesel engine. The petrol will also have an automatic option while the Diesel will only come with the manual gear box. Now just like the other Honda Cars, like the Amaze and the City, fuel economy is going to be one of the important criteria’s and the Mobilio is expected to do very well here. In fact we may as well believe the Mobilio will be the most fuel efficient MPV around, it is fantastic fuel economy for the diesel engine. We even expect the petrol automatic to be very fuel efficient.

Verdict: -

On first impressions at least the Mobilio comes across a very promising product and will turn out to be yet another success for Honda India but the big question as always is the Price. We expect Honda to push in the Mobilio between the Ertiga and the Innova and we know the Mobilio to is priced slightly higher than the Ertiga but let’s face it. The good looks, the features and the spacious and practically cabin is USP of this car.
