Nissan Sunny 2014 Price Review

The mid size sedan segment has seen a lot of new competition recently and now Nissan is here with his face lifted 2014 Sunny sedan. So the question is what is this new mid sizer all about?

How does it look: -
The new Nissan Sunny is instantly recognizable from the front; here we will see a more aggressive design being used. At the front you will find bigger Teana like head lamps, a bigger grill with Chrome and you will see even more chrome around fog lamps area. All this has been done to make the Nissan Sunny 2014 a lot more premiums looking than before and it seems they have succeeded here. Move to the Side and you will see new alloy wheels but then that’s about it. The rear, you will find the new tail lamps and the new rear bumper which again makes the Sunny a lot less bulky than before. Over all Nissan has done a pretty good job here and in fact you will see minor details has been changed like the new black color and the changing of the position of the antenna. All this has been done to make the Sunny to look a lot more mature and a classier option than before.

What about Interior and Features:-
Step inside and you will immediately notice a massive change here, cone is rather a boring grey interior of the previous version replaced by much more luxurious looking colour scheme. When it comes to design changes, the new Nissan Sunny has a sporty three spoke steering wheel, a new centre console with the piano black finish, a piano black cluster with silver accents and than you have leather seats and leather wrapped gear knob. When it comes to features we have a new 2 Din Audio System with a 5.1 inch screen, rear view camera, rear parking sensors, steering mounted audio controls, rear comfort fans, push button start, follow me home head lamps and well the list goes on. So you have to say, Nissan has packed whole lot of features with this car but you also like that Nissan has given basic safety feature as standard in all of the variants for this price. How ever one of the biggest strings of the Sunny remains the massive amount of leg room though you have to say under thigh support could have been a bit better.

How does it drive: -
Engine wise every thing remains the same as before in the 2014 Nissan Sunny it continuous to have the petrol and the diesel engine with the petrol version having the CVT automatic gear box also. At the moment we review about driving the diesel version and it is undoubtedly our pick of the range, it’s torquey and it offers a lot of performance.
There is also no turbo lag present which means Nissan Sunny is actually quite easy to drive whether you are on the Highway or in the City. Another important point is the fact that Nissan has manage to make the Sunny even more economical than before is in reality the mileage increase of 1 Kmpl which is certainly a really good thing. When it comes to ride and handling, this Nissan Sunny 2014 does quite well in the handling front but you have to say that this no sport sedan. The suspension is a bit soft but the positive side is that the ride is really good which quite an important factor is again,.

Verdict: -

India and we have to say Nissan has done a pretty good job here; Nissan has build on the strength of the Sunny but also eliminating the key weakness of the previous model. The new Sunny looks much better inside out, is more luxurious and feature rich than before but there is no doubt that if you or chaffer driven the this car should be a choice, is extremely comfortable and has got a good drive which really matters a lot. Yes it may not be sporty but you what really want in a mid size and justified price Sedan are Comfort, Features, and Good Looks and well the Nissan Sunny has all that.
